Coronado Rotary RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Student Recognition

Screen Shot 2016-05-04 during 4.44.53 PMThe Coronado Rotary Club hosted 10 High School Juniors during their weekly assembly in a Hotel del Coronado on Wednesday 4 May who finished a prestigious RYLA module 15-17 April.

Seven of a students are from Coronado High School and 3 are from Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach.  This is a initial year Rotary has reached out to schools over Coronado.

RYLA began in a San Diego District in 1972 with 100 participants and has given grown to embody some-more than 350 participants annually. Outstanding tyro leaders are selected any year to attend in a 3 day care stay during Idyllwild Pines in Idyllwild, California.

Rotary looks any year for high propagandize juniors who are superb propagandize and/or village leaders with a clever use credentials to request for RYLA.

Selectees participate in what many call a “life-changing experience” where they have a event to plead leadership, use and career opportunities and to sell ideas about stream reliable and amicable issues with associating District 5340 Rotarians who are internal and informal leaders.
