Local wake directors attend inhabitant convention

Chuck, Susie and Nick French, wake directors during French, Lawson-Miller and Schoppenhorst Funeral Homes in Brazil and Clay City, recently attended a 136th Annual Indiana Funeral Directors Association (IFDA) Convention, that was hold Jun 8-9 during a Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Each year during a convention, IFDA presents use pins to a members noticing their years of protected wake use used in Indiana. At this year’s Awards and Recognition Ceremony, Susie perceived a pin for 20 years of use while Nick perceived a pin for 10 years of service.

This year’s Annual IFDA Convention featured rarely regarded internal and inhabitant wake use speakers, who presented on accepted issues associated to business and government practices, regulatory updates, technical skills and training, and other wake use contention issues. Attendance during a Annual IFDA Convention provides wake directors with a forum to accept and sell information. IFDA members lapse home with new ideas that will concede them to improved offer a families in their communities.

The French’s are members of a Indiana Funeral Directors Association. Dr. French is a past boss of IFDA and now serves on a Advisory Members 2015-16 Board of Directors.
